Bankruptcy to Billions: How the Indian Railways transformed

This book is published by Oxford University Press and is about how the Indian Railways were transformed, between 2005 and 2008, counter intuitively, without privatization, retrenchment, or fare-hikes for poor passengers, under the leadership of a populist politician, the then Minister of Railways.

Cities Lead The Way In Climate-Change Action

This article was published in Nature, an interdisciplinary-scientific journal, that cites my collaborative work as an important scientific contribution in its special issue on cities (2010, October 21). The articule argues that scientists should do the research to help mayors prepare for a warming world.
