Shagun Mehrotra

Public Lectures

I have lectured to a variety of scholars and practitioners.

Over the last year, I was invited to speak at the opening plenary of the 5th Urban Research Symposium in Marseille, attended by 700 scholars from 80 countries, and jointly organized by the World Bank and the Government of France.

At the invitation of Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, I spoke to Mayors and urban researchers at the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) in Denmark; and UN-Habitat invited me to a University Roundtable and panel at the 5th World Urban Forum in Rio, Brazil, in March this year.

All of these institutional engagements focused on informing pro-poor urban development.
